The 3.0T TDI engines tend to run hot while under heavy load (towing, off-roading, etc.)

This KPR adaptor solves that issue and allows the user to run an external oil cooler.

Included in the kit:
(x1) KPR Oil Cooler Plate

(x1) KPR Coolant Silicon Hose

(x2) Hose Clamps

(x2) 10AN Fittings

(x6) Stainless Steel M6 bolts

Optional:

(x1) Viton Oil Cooler Seal

Concerns:
Oil Pressure- Some members have pointed out concerns about oil pressure loss with the extra volume the oil pump has to supply.  I did testing during cold and warm temperatures and want to ensure everything that there were no significant changes in oil pressure.  No coding of any sort is necessary.

The data I collected is as followed (average numbers):
Factory oil pressure at idle: 67.0 PSI
Factory oil pressure under load: 81.3 PSI
Oil pressure with external oil cooler at idle: 66.8 PSI
Oil pressure with external oil cooler under load: 81.8 PSI
I collected this data by installing a digital oil pressure sensor (see last picture) directly at the oil cooler to ensure the most accurate information.

Thermostat- There is no need for an external oil cooler thermostat.  The current engine oil thermostat is located right under the plate.  The thermostat stays partially open feeding the oil cooler and fully seals off the bypass at 230F which would be using the external oil cooler.
